中文摘要 | 本研究利用轉移式電漿電弧熔解法( Plasma Transferred Arc Melting, PTA Melting )在球狀石墨鑄鐵表面進行重熔,使表面層因急冷凝固而形成以碳化物組織為主之 高硬度改質層。 實驗以工業常用 3.54 % C,2.48 % Si 為固定成份,以肥粒鐵基地之試 料探討重熔急速凝固組織及沖蝕磨耗特徵。 實驗結果顯示,所有試片表面重熔區之急速凝固組織中有大量共晶碳化物形成,但是隨重熔 電流( 120A-200A )之上升,組織中有促進球墨之晶出現象, 表面硬化層硬度則呈降低傾 向。經定量性探討結果,此現象與急速凝固過程中雪明碳鐵組織之晶出量與形態有關。除此 ,本研究亦針對表面急速凝固硬化層之耐沖蝕磨秏行為進行探討,結果發現球狀石墨鑄鐵經 PTV 重熔表面硬化處理後不但表面層之硬度明顯升高,而且沖蝕磨耗條件為低角度( 30 ° )時,耐沖蝕磨耗特性有明顯改善傾向,但於高角度( 60 °以上)耐沖蝕磨耗特性則有呈 現劣化之現象。 |
英文摘要 | Plasma transferred are (PTA) process are used in remelting of spheroidal graphite cast iron surface. Cementite structure can be obtained on surface layer and shows a significantly high hardness owing to rapid solidification. The composition of 3.54 wt pct carbon and 2.48 wt pct silicon was fixed as the PTA surface remelting experiment. The specimen with ferrite substrate was selected to study the characteristics of rapid solidification and erosion wear. The results show rapidly solidified microstructure with large amount of eutectic cementite. To increase the remelting current (120A-200A) will increase the eutectic graphite and decrease the volume fraction of eutectic cementite, thus will decrease the hardness. When impact angle is fixed at 30 °, the erosion wear resistance increases as increasing the hardness of remelted surface layer. But the erosion wear resistance decreases under the higher impact angle (over 60 ° ). |
