| 英文摘要 | The present study was performed to investigate the effect of fasting ti me before sampling on blood parameters in laying Tsaiya ducks. One hundred and seventy-one laying Tsaiya ducks were raised in individual laying cages. Ducks at 30 wks of age were fasted for 0, 4, and 6 hrs before blood sampling with 57 birds in each group. Blood samples were collected at 3:00 PM. The feed was supplied ad libitum in group of fasting for 0 hr, and were removed at 11:00 AM and 9:00 AM in groups of fasting for 4 and 6 hrs. The results indicated that there were no differences in blood pH, partial pressure of oxygen (pO �� ), and oxygen saturation (O �� %) among the three grou ps. Blood partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO�砥^ and concentration of bicarbonate ions ([HCO �婀� ] ) in group of ad libitum ducks (57.4 mm Hg and 24.3 mmol/L, respectively) were higher than the ducks of fasting for 4 and 6 hrs (51.8, 50.3 mmHg and 22.3, 21.5 mmol/L, respectively). There were no differences between groups of fasting for 4 and 6 hrs. No difference was found in plasma calcium level among three groups. Plasma inorganic phosphorus in group of ad libitum ducks (10.38 mg/dL) was lower than the ducks of fasting for 4 and 6 hrs (16.58 and 15.72 mg/dL, respectively). No differences in egg weight and eggshell strength from the eggs collected in the next morning after blood sampling were observed among the three groups. |
