英文摘要 | When dissimilar materials are joined at elevated temperature, residual stress is generated around the edge of bonding interface. Because of stress concentration on the interface, the strength of joining tends not to be as great as the expected value. Many investigations with finite element analysis (FEA) have been performed to estimate the effects of residual stress using homogeneous thermal field on the bonding process. In this paper, thermal residual stress and strain were investigated with FEA under non-uniform thermal distribution. Numerical analysis was carried out for ceramics-nickel (TiB �� -Ni) under thermo-elastic, axisymmetric conditions. It has been found that residual stress around the edge of the bonding interface is affected by temperature difference between the inside and the surface of joined material. |
