中文摘要 | 機車安全帽對騎士頭部的防護功能,已是一公認的事實,但在撞擊速度及材料性 質對安全帽保護能力的影響,至今仍不清楚。本研究建立一實體之覆面型安全帽之有限元素 碰撞模型, 以 LS-DYNA3D 套裝軟體進行參數分析, 並配合頭部最大加速度值 (Maximum Acceleration) 及頭部傷害準則 (Head Injury Criterion 值 ) 探討在撞擊過程中之帽體 能量吸收機轉與其防護之能力。模擬的結果顯示,安全帽材料特性對其撞擊過程有明顯的影 響。在低速碰撞的狀況下,較低的帽殼材料強度及吸收衝擊墊襯的密度,對於頭部有較好的 保護效果。但在高速碰撞的狀態之下,外殼的材料強度應適度調高,可使安全帽的保護能力 提升。因此機車安全帽的設計,應考慮其適用範圍而有不同因應,使安全帽發揮最大的防護 功能。 |
英文摘要 | Wearing a helmet is the best method to prevent head injuries from motorcycle accidents. However, it is still unclear that how the helmet performance is affected by the impact velocity, materials properties and the fitting between the head and the liner of helmet. A finite element model of the motorcycle helmet has been established and the LS-DYNA3D was employed to proceed the parametric analysis. The maximum acceleration and Head Injury Criterion (HIC) of the headform were used to evaluate the helmet performance. the results showed that the material properties of the helmet played an important role in the helmet performance. In high-speed impact, a higher stiffness of shell of the helmet could decrease the force of the headform. In low-speed impact, the shell stiffness needed to be lower to reduce the head injury of the rider. |
