中文摘要 | 環境史是歷史研究領城中新興的範疇,深受當代環境運動與環境主義之 影響。環境史教學促使學生反省工業革命以來的價值觀,也可以藉由世界與本土 的環境史知識,增進對鄉土與自然環境之情感,而且它綜合科技與人文之領域, 可以適切的傳達通識教育之理念,將賦與學生縱深、周延與宏觀的視野。由於環 境問題已經成為世界性議題,亟待整合性知識加以解決,環境史教學可以使環境 學知識之傳授更為完整,因此應該受到通識教育課程之重視。 |
英文摘要 | Environmental History is a new field in historical study. It is generatedby the rise of modern environmental movement and environmentalism.Environmental agenda have become global concerns and interdisciplinarytrainings are inevitably required to solve environmental problems incontemporary world. Teaching environmental history is important ingeneral education, because the course can teach students to evaluate thevalues people have been believing m since the Industrial Revolution. It alsoincreases loves to home and nature by studing the environmental history ofworld and home country. And it synthesizes both fields of humanity andscience as well. In other words, the course can carry out the ideals ofgeneral education and students can be endowed with more sophisticatedand comprehensive points of view in environmental education. The courseof environmental history should be estimated in general education. |
