中文摘要 | 攝取大量魚油或其他較不飽和的油常會引起嚴重的脂肪堆積在肝中的現象,而卵磷質和其他磷脂質被發現可減緩這種現象。本實驗旨在探討大白鼠在高魚油與高膽固醇飲食條件下,若給予Methionine或Choline,是否能達到與直接給予卵磷質來改善大白鼠高血脂及脂肪肝現象的效果相近?30隻Wistar大白鼠被逢機任意分配到6個不同之飼料組中,各飼料中含有Methionine,Choline或磷脂質作為欲探討之因子,動物共飼養8週。實驗結果顯示,在高魚油、高膽固醇飼料中若添加Methionine或同時添加Methionine與Choline時,均可明顯降低大白鼠血漿及肝臟中總脂質、三酸甘油酯的濃度,此效果與單獨添加卵磷質近似。結果亦顯示,在飼料中添加了卵磷脂或其合成因子,在8週內均投影響到血清膽固醇之濃度,但添加有choline或卵磷脂時,可降低肝臟中之膽固醇。 |
英文摘要 | Ingestion of large quantity of fish oil and other highly unsaturated oils hasbeen shown to cause abnormal lipid accumulation in liver, while phospholpipids, including lecithin, ameliorated this phenomenon. Methionine is essential for thesynthesis of choline, the basic component of lecithin. The purpose of this studywas to determine the effect of methionine and choline supplement in diet onplasma and liver lipids. Thirty male 5 weeks old Wistar rats were randomlydivided into 5 groups and were fed the fish oil basal diet supplemented withmethionine, choline and/or lecithin for 8 weeks. Relative to the controls, animalsfed the diet supplemented with either methionine or methionine plus choline hadsignificantly lower levels of total lipids and triacyiglycerol in plasma and livers.These results were similar to the effects of adding lecithin alone in the samebasal diet. Supplementation with lecithin, methionine, or methionine plus cholinealso significantly reduced the levels of cholesterol in liver, but not in plasma. |
