中文摘要 | 本研究以臺灣地區四個國家公園(墾丁、玉山、陽明山、太魯閣)之專業人員為對 象,探討有關國家公園管理所需能力,因母群體數不大(101人),故將此母群體全體作為 樣本,使用經過效度、信度處理之自編問卷進行施測。所得資料分別以百分比、主成份 分析、變異數分析等統計方法作有關國家公園管理所需能力的分析,調查結果發現,有 關生態、環境保護、自然資源保育、解說、觀光、法律、規則、安全、公共關係及如何 與員工溝通等方面的知識,被評定為前10項所需具備之最重要的能力;另以變異數分析 發現這些需具備方能力,在四個國家公園中,不因地理區位之不同而有顯著性的差異。 最後,並根據調查結果提出大學院校設計「國家公園管理系(組)」課程建議。 |
英文摘要 | This study was to analyze the ratings of competencies for professional preparation in national park management as perceived by national part practitioners in Taiwan. Based on the results of competencies ratings and remarks made b yrespondents, the requirements for a national park management curriculum in Taiwan at the undergraduate level were proposed. The survey instrument used in this study was a structured questionnaire, validated by a jury of eight Taiwan experts, consisting of 46 competencies and two openended questions relative to additional competencies and comments. In an attempt to understand the internal consistency of the instrument, the Cronbach's alpha was computed. The results of Cronbach's alpha indicated that reliability coefficients of 9459 can be accepted as satisfactory. The four national parks in Taiwan were the national parks from which the population of survey participants were identified. Due to the relatively small number (101) of practitioners, it was resolved that the population would serve as the sample. Respondents were asked to indicate their opinions on the degree of importantce of each competency by means of a six-point Likert scale. The mean score and standard deviation were calculated for each competency statement. It was found that knowledge concerning ecology, environmental protection, natural resource preservation, interpretation, tourism, laws, regulations, safety, public relations, and communications with staff were rated by the practitioners to be ten competencies of greatest importance. In regard to the relationship of every competency with every other competency for clustering of common items which represent homogeneity in terms of the relative imprtance assigned by the respondents, principal component analysis technique was employed to examine this relationship. The results verified that all 46 competencies met the criterion of having loadings in excess of 45 Nine components were identified. |
