| 英文摘要 | Study was made to determine the effects of sun-dried chicken manure containing 12% moisture and 22.46% crude protein as substitute for 16% equal weight of feed in finishing diet with or without 3% tallow on growth, feed conversion and carcass quality of the fattening pigs. Forty male crossabred pigs averaging 48kg in weight were divided into 4 treatments on the basis of litter and nody weight of 10 head each treatment. Treatment A received corn-soybean finishing basal diet as control. Treatment B, basal diet + tallow 3%; Treatment C, basal 84% + chicken manure 16%; Treatment D basal 84% + chicken manure 16% + tallow 3%. The pigs were housed on concrete-floored individual pens; diets were given twice daily individually and allowed free access to water at all time. Body weight and feed consumption records of each pig were kept at the intervals of 20 days throughout 60 days of the feeding trial. At the completion of the feeding trial two pigs from each of the four treatments were slaughtered for carcass study. The results were given in tables 3 and 4. It showed that the mean values of weight gains, feed conversion rate of the pigs at the end of the feeding trial, dressing percentage, carcass length, back fat thickness, lean loin eye area, percentage weight of trimmed ham, loin, picnic, butt, belly, 4 lean cuts, 5 primals for the pigs of treatment A were 46.66 kg, 3.154, 71.81%, 81.25 cm, 2.98 cm, 29.20 cm2, 22.84%, 17.82%, 12.28%, 6.86%, 17.95%, 59.91%, 77.86%; of treatment B were 47.28 kg, 3.058, 73.79%, 80.75 cm, 3.00 cm, 28.87 cm2, 21.74%, 18.47%, 11.52%, 6.95%, 18.92%, 58.66%, 77.37%; of treatment C were 39.24 kg, 3.713, 71.27%, 75.50 cm, 2.92 cm, 25.17 cm2, 20.16%, 20.41%, 11.86%, 7.34%, 19.68%, 59.76%, 79.44%; while of the treatment D were 38.82 kg, 3.737, 71.45%, 76.00 cm, 3.13 cm, 21.13 cm2, 22.37%, 20.00%, 13.04%, 6.58%, 17.08%, 61.98%, 79.05% respectively. The data indicated that the growth and feed conversion rate of the fattening pigs were significantly decreased (p<0.01) as the chicken manure was used to replace 16% of ingredient on dry weight basis in the finishing swine diet. The addition of tallow 3% to either the basal control diet or the chicken manure experimental diet did not improve the growth and feed conversion rate of the fattening pigs. However, no detrimental effects were found on their health and carcass qualities from this trial. |
