中文摘要 | 本研究以二氧化碳活化法製備竹活性碳作為寵物用貓砂材料,其比表面積介於448.3-810.3m^2/g氮氣吸附等溫線屬Type IV型態,孔隙係以微孔為主。檸檬桉葉及綠茶萃取液之抑菌活性結果顯示,於濃度500μg/disc時對綠膿桿菌具抑菌活性,而其濃度分別於10μg/disc及100μg/disc時對金黃色葡萄球菌有抑菌活性,但魚腥草者則於1000μg/disc才具抑菌活性。又於培養14天之抑菌結果顯示,對綠膿桿菌於菌量10^5CFU/mL時,檸檬桉葉、綠茶及魚腥草於濃度分別10、50及100mg/mL時具抑菌活性;對金黃色葡萄球菌之抑菌活性濃度則分別為1、1、50mg/mL。對絮狀表皮癬菌之最低抑菌濃度結果得知,檸檬桉葉及綠茶者為0.16mg/mL,較魚腥草者為1.25mg/mL者佳。上述結果可知,檸檬桉萃取液之抑菌活性較其他者佳,因此將檸檬桉葉萃取液與竹醋液混和液浸潰竹活性碳於固液比為1:4時作為貓砂試樣,其抑菌活性結果顯示,竹活性碳以活化溫度850與950°C製備者於浸漬濃度100mg/mL或以上者對綠膿桿菌、金黃色葡萄球菌及絮狀表皮癬菌皆具抑菌活性。另依除異味試驗結果可知,活化溫度950°C所製備竹活性碳者,經檸檬桉葉萃取液及竹醋液混合液浸潰者,其氨氣移除率可達75.0-87.5%,其中以混合液濃度於200mg/mL、固液比1:8浸漬者之氨氣移除率87.5%為最佳。 |
英文摘要 | Bamboo activated carbon, as the pets used cat granulated substance, was prepared by using the methods of physics activation with carbon dioxide. The BET specific surface area of bamboo activated carbons was from 448.3 to 810.3 m^2/g. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms of the bamboo activated carbons were classified as type IV, indicating the presence of microporous structures. The extracts of green tea and Eucalyptus citriodora leaf showed that the concentration at 500μg/disc was all effective for antibacterial activity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and at 10μg/disc and 100μg/disc, both them were individually effective to Staphylococcus aureaus, but for antibacterial activity of Houttuynia cordata, the extracts concentration was at 1000μg/disc. The antibacterial activity till 14 days cultivation for the extracts of Eucalyptus citriodora leaf, Houttuynia cordata and green tea at 10, 50 and 100mg/mL were effective for Pseudomonas aeruginosa at 10^5CFU/mL of colony forming quantity, respectively, but for Staphylococcus aureaus, the concentration was at 1, 1 and 50mg/mL. The minimum inhibitory concentration for Epidermophyton floccosum obtained that the extracts of green tea and Eucalyptus citriodora leaf was all at 0.16mg/mL, and was better than for Houttuynia cordata (1.25mg/mL). As stated in the above results, the antibacterial activity of Eucalyptus citriodora leaf was the best one. The mixtures of Eucalyptus citriodora leaf extracts and bamboo vinegar were soaked with bamboo activated carbon at 1:4 of solid liquid ratio to as the specimen of cat granulated substance. The concentration of antibacterial activity at 100mg/mL or more; therefore, was all effective to Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureaus and Epidermophyton floccosum for the bamboo activated carbon preparing at both 850 and 950℃ of activation temperatures. The results of eliminating unpleasant smell showed that the ammonia eliminating rate for the bamboo activated carbon prepared at 950℃ and then soaked with the mixtures of Eucalyptus citriodora leaf extracts and bamboo vinegar was about 75.0-87.5%. The ammonia eliminating rate of the specimen of cat granulated substance soaked with the mixtures at 200mg/mL with 1:8 of solid liquid ratio was the best one and to reach 87.5 %. |
