中文摘要 | 本研究結合粒狀活性碳(Granular Activated Carbon,GAC)固定床和微波加熱系統,建立一實驗室規模之連續式有機溶劑廢氣流處理設備,將可有效減少實驗過程中有機溶劑逸散至大氣中之數量,不但可改善實驗室內部空氣品質,且可降低空氣污染程度。實驗結果顯示,就GAC固定床達吸附穿透點所需之時間而言,單獨二氯甲烷(DCM)之實驗約需時78 min,而混合DCM和丙酮(ACE)比例為1:3和1:1者,則分別縮短至約56 min和40 min。在以650W微波輸出功率進行熱脫附程序過程中,出流氣中之二氯甲烷(DCM)濃度,在0.5 min時高達55000 ppmv以上,若持續加熱則在第6 min後降低至9.71 ppmv,至第14 min時更降低至鄰近偵測極限值。當關閉微波電源後約42±3 min可自然冷卻至室溫,即可再進行下一循環之有機溶劑吸附/熱脫附程序。 |
英文摘要 | A set of continuous treatment equipment by integration of microwave radiation and granular activated carbon (GAC) packed-bed was established to treat organic solvents in a laboratory flue gas. The amount of organic solvents eluted from the laboratory was found reduced effectively after being treated and may not only improve air quality in the laboratory environment but also low an impact of air pollution to the atmosphere. Experimental data revealed that the time required for the GAC packed-bed to reach its breakthrough point depends on the kinds of organic solvent in a flue gas. It needed 78 minutes for a run with flue gas consists of DCM only; however, it required 56 and 40 minutes, respectively, for flue gases with mixture of ACE and DCM in ratios of 1:3 and 1:1, respectively. The DCM concentration in the strip gas was measured more than 55000 ppmv at 0.5 minutes during the microwave radiation heating process. It has been seen that DCM concentration in the strip gas decreased dramatically and was measured as low as 9.71 ppmv at 6 minutes of the heating process. Moreover, the DCM concentration in the strip gas was measured nearly to the detectable limit level when the microwave radiation desorption process had been lasting as long as 14 minutes. The GAC packed-bed was cooled down to the ambient temperature ca. 42±3 minutes after the microwave radiation was turn off, and the cycle of adsorption/thermal desorption procedure can be restarted immediately. |
