英文摘要 | The objective of this investigation is to study the adsorptive behavior of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) onto activated carbon clothes (ACCs) by a dynamic fixed-bed adsorber. Three types of ACCs have been employed:KF-1500 ACC (TOYOBO, Japan), FT200-10 ACC (KURRAY, Japan) and FT200-20 ACC (KURRAY, Japan). The VOCs included acetone, dichloromethane and n-hexane have been investigated. The operating parameters studied are temperature of adsorption fixed bed, weight of ACC, relative humidity of fluid, pressure of adsorption fixed bed, initial concentration of VOCs and total volumetric flow rate of gas stream. The total amounts of VOCs adsorbed onto unit weight of ACCs are determined. A simple model, which originally proposed by Yoon and Nelson, has been modified to simulate and predict breakthrough data of the adsorption column. |
