英文摘要 | We examined the effects of light quality on seed germination and seedling growth of Taiwan zelkova (Zelkove serrata (Thunb.) Makino). There were significant differences in the effects of different light spectra on seed germination and seedling growth of Taiwan zelkove. For seeds and seedlings of Guguan seed lot, seeds receiving orange light had the highest average germination percentage (X=43.3±3.6%), and seedlings receiving yellow light had highest accumulative net height growth (X=24.6±1.2cm), and root collar diameter growth (X=2.4±0.11mm). For seeds and seedlings of Fuxing County seed lot, seeds receiving yellow light had the highest average germination percentage (X=43.2±3.2%), and seedlings receiving yellow light had the highest accumulative net height growth (X=3.80±1.9cm), but those receiving full sun light had the highest accumulative net root collar diameter growth (X=3.1±0.2mm). |
