中文摘要 | 在「終身學習」觀念日益受到重視的今日,學習不再是個人階段性的任務,而是 與一個人的生命共始共終。在傳統教學上,不論時間、空間均有其限制,因此,終身學習的 理念是難以在傳統教育下實踐的。相較之下,遠距教學運用各種傳播媒體、資訊科技,打破 傳統教育固定呆板的限制,以及突破時空的障礙,此與終身學習的理念正相吻合,也使遠距 教學成為實踐終身學習理念的最佳途徑。 在邁向二十一世紀開發國家的時刻,僅靠學校教育所傳授的知識是不足以滿足工作需求,因 此,建立終身學習的概念是國人的一種期望,終身學習不僅是社會的產物,也是引導社會發 展方向的必要遠景。在達到此種企圖,毫無疑問,運用遠距教學是一種具有優越性、前瞻性 的教學方式,它是可以實現終身學習的「利器」。 本文主要目的是針對遠距教學這種新的挑戰與學習環境進行初步的探討,並以交通大學、成 功大學等遠距教學的開辦經驗,與遠距教學相關之文獻與理論探討與介紹,來探討支援終身 學習的管道,企盼對學校教官、教師在終身學習上或有所助益,並期望對於教官之在職進修 上有另一管道的開拓。 |
英文摘要 | Today, when the idea of "Life-time Learning" is getting more thought highly, learning is no more a person's staged task, but is getting along with one's life. There are many resistances in time and space for traditional teaching; therefore, it is difficult to actualize the Life-time Learning idea. By contrast, Distance Education uses various mediums and information technology breaks the resistances of tradetional teaching and makes the Distance Education be the best way to actualize the Life-time Learning. At the moment of turning to develop country in 21th century, we can't be satisified just only depending on the knowledge from school education. So it is our people's expectation to set up the concept of Life-time Learning. It is not only the social result, but also a necessary prpspect to lend the social development. To get the goal, undoubtedly, Distance Education is an ascendant and prospective way; it is a good tool to achieve Life-time Learning. The purpose of this article is an elementary study about the new task and the learning environment of Distance Education. Using the experience from Chiao-Tung University and Cheng-Kung University, and combining with the related references and theory, we will discuss the method to support Life-time Learning. We hope to help instructors and teachers and to beat another path in Life-time Learning. |
