英文摘要 | In vitro longevity ofMonilinia fructicola, the peach brown rot pathogen and disease incidence as well as inoculum sources were studied during 1996-1997. An average of 13.67%, 12.17% and 13.59% of fruit examined showed brown rot symptom at Shin-She, Ho-Ping and Li-Shan areas respectively. The conidia longevity of M. fructicola on filter paper was approximately for 140-150 days at 8-16 ℃, 110-120 days at 20 ℃, 90-100 days at 24-28 C, and less then 70 days at 32 ℃. During peach blooming stage, conidia of M. fructicola were observed on twigs with infected fruit peduncles, cankers and attached mummified fruits on twigs. Blighted blossoms sporulated profusely in early spring, but sporulation declined as the season progressed. Nonabscised, aborted fruits and thinned fruits on the ground were important sources of conidia during development of fruit maturity in Taiwan. |
