英文摘要 | Annual production of oil-fired fly ash in Taiwan was approximately 43 thousand tons. Structurewise, both consisted of porous unburned carbon, vanadium and nickel oxide, and water-soluble sulfate. If these ashes were not properly disposed of, they become environmental problems such as the dusting, the leakage of acid liquids, and the pollution with heavy metals. The results of this study show that the oil-fired fly ash was leached in a solution of 0.25N of ammonia water and 2N ammoniumm sulfate, it would yield an extraction of 60% nickel and 8% vanadium-leading to a selective extraction. The nickel contents of the leached solution could be extracted by Lix-64N at pH8∼9 and then a raffinate which was rich in ammoniumm sulfate was obtained. Thereafter nickel was recovered from the loaded Lix-64N by contracting with sulfuric acid. The left organic phase was thus restored to be reused as extractant. The left residues were leached again by sodium hydroxide solution. The leaching liquor containing vanadium was efficiently purified and concetrated by TOA at pH3∼5. The vanadiumpregnant organic phase could thus be stripped by sodium hydroxide into aqueous sodium vanadate, which in turn could be precipitated and recycled as ammonium meta-vanadate at pH8∼9 by adding the left raffinate of rich ammonium sulfate. Through the two-step leaching process of above description, nickel, vanadium and ammorium sulfate could be recovered. At the same time, the residual carbons from leaching could be used as activated carbon or fuel. Thus, this study establishes a whole resources recovery process for the oil-fired fly ash. |
