英文摘要 | The major goal of this research was to study the economic dispatch problem for a cogeneration plant. With fuel consumption and steam generation being measured, the numerical curve fitting method was then employed to determine the Input-Output (I/O) curve for heat input and the steam generation output. Based on the computed I/O curves and operational constraints, the optimal fuel dispatch problem could be solved by the application of the Evolutionary Programming (EP) technique. The fuel dispatch solutions achieved by using EP are inherited with a set of global optimal combinations, instead of a local optimal one. By comparing the calculated results, it can be clearly shown that the methodology developed in this paper can provide a practical model for the cogeneration industry to follow. |
