中文摘要 | 機車騎士在事故發生時,除了頭部傷害外,臉部傷害也常發生,並且臉部在遭受 傷害時撞擊能量會傳遞到腦部,造成腦部嚴重創傷,故對機車騎士臉部的保護與頭部的保護 是同等重要的。而以目前機車安全帽的種類而言,僅有覆面型機車安全帽具有保護臉部的裝 置, 稱為護顎 (chin bar),而護顎的保護功效與吸收能量的機轉正是本篇研究所關心的。 本研究建立具有護顎的安全帽三維有限元素碰撞模型,利用所建立的有限元素碰撞模型進行 正向碰撞分析, 並將模擬結果與實驗結果作比較,以驗證模型的準確性,藉由觀察分析結果 所得到的各種物理量進一步探討護顎於碰撞過程中保護臉部與吸收能量的機轉。另外也藉改 變護顎局部區域之材料性質代替結構剛性與結構強度改變,探討護顎結構剛性與結構強度在 碰撞過程中對於能量吸收的影響。 |
英文摘要 | There is no doubt that the motorcycle helmet could protect the rider from head injuries during impact. However, besides the cranial impact, the facial impact could happen and the impact energy could cause fatal brain injuries too. The protection of facial injuries is as important as that of cranial injuries for motorcyclists. Among motorcycle helmets only the full face helmet has chin bar design to protect the rider from facial injuries. Hence, it is necessary to investigate the protective capability and the energy absorbing mechanism of chin bar during impace. The main objective of this study is to establish a three dimensional finite element helmet model with chin bar to perform dynamic analysis for facial impact. The analytical results were compared with the experimental outcomes to validate the finite element model. Different impact types were observed according to different standard testing methods. Material properties of chin bar were modified in the simulation to study the influence of chin bar stiffness during impact. |
