中文摘要 | 中華電信各區分公司障礙臺隨著科技的進步,從早期的人工測試轉變為自動測試 ,從人工應答轉換為語音自動應答;在用戶性質上,也從一般電話演進至ISDN電話;上述轉 變並非在一夕之間完成,而是循序漸進的,也因此經常需要加入新系統或新功能,所以必然 也產生新系統與原有系統間相容性的問題,或原有系統無法增加新功能的問題。 由於個人電腦的低成本、高普及率和容易操作的特性,所以當系統間發生相容性的問題 或原有系統無法增加新功能時,通常都以個人電腦來解決,並無整體性的解決方案與架構, 此情況在新系統增加快速的情形下,已造成各區分公司機房都需維護許多以個人電腦為工作 平臺的小系統,相對的也造成維運成本、機器所佔用的空間和維運人員的負擔(需要維護及 學習許多軟體系統)都會增加,所以應該改採整合問題的治本思考方式,以個人電腦及RS- 232多埠設備發展--整合式工作平臺系統,其特色是透通性高、擴充性大、設備介接容易、 安裝容易及維護容易,其目的是整合現有及未來障礙臺內各系統的介接及管理問題。 |
英文摘要 | The 112 service centers of Chunghwa Telecom CO., Ltd. have been computer- ized for several years. The first generation of testing system has been replaced by new testing system gradually. Currently, the new generation of testing system is being installed in some 112 service centers. But the protocol of new generation is not completely compatible with the old one's. Therefore, we must solve the compatibility problems. In the past, when a compatibility problem incurred, we usually used a personal computer and a mini software system to solve it. So, the more new incompatible systems are installed, the more personal computers and more mini software systems are required. This solving approach also causes another problems as following: 1. The operators and 112 service center maintenance group must learn several mini software systems and maintain these personal computers. 2. Because the size of software is small, the personal computer utilization is not efficient, and the cost is very high. 3. The personal computers occupy large space of 112 service center. 4. "How to connect the relative personal computers" becomes a new issue. In this paper, we present an integrated architecture to solve the compatibility problems in an overall view. Regarding the hardware architecture, we use only one personal computer and one intelligent RS-232 multi-port facility to provide many RS-232 ports. By the way, for the software architecture, we use driver concept, layered structure, and pure code concept to construct a multi-port multi- protocol converter. Under this architecture, the user can use any port to connect the desired system to solve compatibility problems. |
