英文摘要 | Habermas is not known as a sociologist of religion; yet his works and his positions on religion have evoked wide discussions and responses in the academic world of religion. This article first introduces the basic ideas of Habermas' theory of communicative action and then deals with his view on religion within this theoretical framework as well as changes in his attitudes toward religion before and after the publication of his theory of communicative action. The author believes that as an atheist, Habermas' insistence on rational argumentation is his best contribution to religion's right to claim its validity to everyone including the iworld of academy. |
