中文摘要 | 面對終身學習社會與地球學習社區之來臨,高科技「遠距教學」模式在未來二十一世紀之人類資訊生產、複製、傳播、消費與分配市場似乎扮演著潛在的與關鍵性之角色。「遠距教學」與高科技結合,不但可提供如同「傳統教學」之「同步」效果,而且可提供師生不需面對面授課與學習之「非同步」功能,甚且認為透由多媒體科技之運用,當可提供更生動活潑之多元教學過程,以激發學生之學習興趣、動機與態度,直接、間接提昇教學效果;足見此新教學模式對師生互動過程、課程設計與評量措施等所造成之衝擊似是可預期的。然而,由於整個教學歷程之主客觀因素非常複雜,鑑此,筆者乃築基於文獻以探討遠距教學意義與類型後,進而試圖藉由「質的研究法」深入探索遠距教學之卓越價值與反省其可能困境,並據此以為進一步研究之參考,俾利廣求「正見」、端正「視聽」,以免流於盲從之美化假象而不自知。 |
英文摘要 | It is the beginning of lifelong learning society and global learning community. High-tech 'distance learning' mode seems to play a potential and crucial role in the production, reproduction, dissemination, consumption and distribution of human information for the 2lst century. The functions of advanced technology used in distance learning are not only to present the 'synchronous' teaching processes as traditional instruction type but also to offer the 'asynchronous' teaching processes that traditional teaching method cannot reach. Namely, there will be great differences in teaching processes, curriculum designs and assessment arrangements between traditional teaching and hi-tech distance learning. It is in particular, useful to arouse and inspire the learner's interests, motives and attitudes by means of multi-media equipment. However, it is not so easy to achieve the educational goals of distance learning fully that this study is tried to explore the excellent values and to provide insight into some possible predicaments of distance learning through literature review and 'qualitative research method. Finally some recommendations for further study are also indicated. |
