中文摘要 | 為研究臺灣土雞生產體系,以國立中興大學育成之公系B與S品系公雞分別配種母 系Y,L1,L2與D品系之六種二品雜交母雞,生產12種三品系雜交組合雛雞 2,041 隻供本研 究使用。檢定項目包括育成期死亡率、體重、雞冠大小、體型評分與羽毛損傷評分。主要 結果如下:1.死亡率低於4%,公雞高於母雞,但各品系間無明顯差異;2.B與S 品系之雜交 子代之差異,16週齡體重之差異公母均接近200g,B品系雞冠大小略大於S;3.母系對雜交 後代之影響,體重之重輕順序為Y,L1,L2與D,雞冠也以Y品系之後代較大;4.各公母系對 雜交後代體型評分之影響並沒有顯著差異;5.羽毛損傷程度以公雞較母雞為嚴重;6.依檢 定結果,種母雞仍以D與L2之雜交母雞為適合,而B與S均適合作為種公雞。 |
英文摘要 | In order to find the best production system of Taiwan Country chicken, cockerels of B and S male strains, bred by the National Chung-Hsing University, were mated to 6 different two-strain hybrid types of pullets, from crosses among Y,L1,L2 and D female strains, to produce 2,041 chicks of 12 three-strain hybrid groups. Measured traits included mortality, body weight, comb size, body conformation score and feather damage score during the rearing period. The main results were as follows, 1.Mortality was lower than 4% Mortality of males was higher than that of females, but no significant difference was found among strains. 2.For the differences between offspring of B and S strains, body weight at 16 weeks of age for both genders were all close to 200 g, and comb size of B was somewhat larger than that of S strains. 3.For the effects of female strains on the offspring, rank of body weight from heavy to light was Y, L1, L2 and D, and comb size of Y strain offspring was larger than the others. 4.No significant difference was found among offsprings of either different male strains or female strains for the body conformation score. 5.Damage of feather was more severe in males than in feamales. 6.Results of the study suggested that the best parent-stock females were from the cross between D and L2 strains, and either B or S strain could be sued as male line of parent-stock. |
