英文摘要 | The particle size distribution histograms of Zr(Fe,Cr)�疸termetallic precipitates in Zircaloy-4 tubing KW501 and DV71 have been studied using transmission electron microscope (TEM). It is found that great care should be taken in the quantitative analysis of the precipitates in the thin foil if erroneous results are to be avoided. The methods for analyzing the foil thickness, as well as density and volume fraction of particles are reported. The results indicate that at least several hundred intermetallic precipitates are needed for particle counting in order to minimize the statistical errors. Factors affecting the accuracy of particle sizing and counting are also discussed. |
