| 英文摘要 | The interactions of an initially isotropic three-dimensional turbulent fluctuation field with a clean air-sea interface (free surface) and a mean shear layer are studied using direct numerical simulation. The simulation results show that as turbulence approaches the interface, the field becomes effectively anisotropic and quasi-two-dimensional, with a rapid attenuation of the vertical fluctuation velocities and an accompanying increase in the horizontal turbulence intensity. Instantaneous vortex-line plots and the distribution of the inclination angles of the vorticity vectors indicate that coherent horseshoe vortical structures emerge from random initial vorticities. These horseshoe vortices approach and connect onto the interface, and subsequently appear as dramatic pairing of vortices with opposite signs on the interface. |
