英文摘要 | At the Present time, many variations of second-order-closure turbulence models are available: However, no unique turbulence model exists which can predict satisfactorily all turbulent flows. Each turbulence model can be applied successfully to some turbulent flows but not satisfactorily to others. This paper analyzes different modeling assumptions and various proposed turbulence models. Prediction of free shear flows, wall shear flows, unsteady flows, and complex three-dimensional flows are also given to show the capabilities and limitations of the existing turbulence models. |
