中文摘要 | 本文調查師範學院一年級新生對初等數學的了解情況,總共筆測了三所師範學院數理教育系與初等教育系新生各一班,共計197名。 調查發現,在國小的初等數學中,師範新生表現欠佳的部份,有電算器的使用能力,周長與面積的基本概念,正比與反比的推理能力,以小數、分數與百分率之換算能力。這些單元亟待師資培育時加強。本調查數據並與加拿大蒙特婁大學所收師範學生的表現進行比較,一般而言,我國師院新生的初等數學能力比加拿大的師範生好很多。 |
英文摘要 | This survey evaluated the background on elementary mathematics of 197 freshmen who are major in either mathematics and science or elementary education from three normal colleges in Taiwan. The performance of these elementary school student teachers on "using calculator", "applying perimeter and area", "proportional reasoning" and "reverting between decimals, fractions, and percentages" were unsatisfied. These topics are expected to be reinforced in their teacher education program. Compared the performance of these Taiwanese student teachers with some Canadian prospective elementary school teachers (from university of Montreal) on the same teast paper, Taiwanese student teachers have better elementary mathematics background than Canadian students. |
