| 英文摘要 | A numerical solution to an extended Graetz problem has been obtained for isothermal diffusion of controlling reactant and product of an Nth-order (N=0, 1 and 2) irreversible reaction occurring at the catalytic wall of a tubular reactor with an incompressible power law fluid flowing in fully developed laminar flow. Effects of surface reaction rate, diffusivity ratio, reaction order, and flow index on the system variables such as Sherwood number and concentration profile are examined. The numerical results are in good agreement with analytical solutions for the Newtonian and pseudoplastic cases of zero-order reaction, and for the Newtonian and infinite pseudoplastic cases of first-order reaction. |
