英文摘要 | Simultaneous convective diffusion of reactant and product of an arbitrary nh-th order irreversible homogeneous reaction in a tubular reactor with an incompressible power-law non-Newtonian fluid flowing in fully developed laminar flow has been studied. Emphases are focused on the behavior of product species. The results indicate that the diffusivity ratio significantly influences the concentration fields of product. Axial wall concentration profiles of product either increase monotonically or go through maximum. The present solution expressed in dimensionless form is applicable to approximating the temperature profiles for the system with heat generation deduced by a homogeneous reaction. |
