英文摘要 | The unsteady and steady state Graetz problems for the mass transfer with 1st order chemical reaction in the entrance region for the fully-developed laminar flow of power-law non-Newtonian fluids in a circular tube are studied by instant-local similarity method and local similarity method respectively. The approximate solutions are very accurate for small axial distance and small time. The effects of the flow index, reaction rate parameter and Graetz number on the mass transfer rate are demonstrated with numerical solutions. The results of steady Graetz problems agree very well with the corresponding extended Leveque solutions, and the results of unsteady Graetz problem approach to the corresponding steady Graetz solutions when time has passed. |
