| 英文摘要 | Electrical injuries (EIs) are a significant public health concern, with varying severity depending on the type of current, voltage, and tissue characteristics. This study aims to review the basic care knowledge and recent trends in the treatment of adult electrical injuries over the past five years. The review covers the classification of EIs, factors influencing injury severity such as voltage, current intensity, tissue properties, and exposure duration, as well as the physiological impact on human tissues, especially the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems. The findings highlight that high-voltage and high-current injuries are associated with severe cardiac damage, including arrhythmias and cardiac arrest, while low-voltage injuries generally result in less severe outcomes. Treatment trends emphasize early stabilization, monitoring, and appropriate intervention based on injury type, while emerging therapies like vitamin C and recombinant basic fibroblast growth factor (rbFGF) have shown promise in managing high-voltage burn wounds. Furthermore, psychological and cognitive impacts, including PTSD and anxiety, often persist long after the injury, with the severity and type of acute response influencing long-term health outcomes. This review provides essential insights for clinicians in managing EIs, emphasizing the importance of timely and tailored interventions for optimal patient recovery. |
