| 中文摘要 | 神經機器翻譯的迅速發展大幅提升了機器翻譯產出的譯文品質,筆者比較日文系大四學生與現今機器翻譯的日文譯文後發現,兩者有時在品質上並無太大差異。若機器翻譯已發展至此,則以中文翻譯日文為主要授課內容的「中日翻譯實務」其於日文系的課程定位便出現了探討空間,而課堂中需著重哪些內容才能讓日文系畢業生站穩日文優勢亦成為重要課題。本文首先闡述神經機器翻譯對大學日語教育帶來的威脅,並探討了「中日翻譯實務」此科目於日文系的課程定位,其次,敘述了課堂中應讓學生了解翻譯時需以日語的思考邏輯與日本文化的角度呈現中文原文之意,而非將單字、句型的代換視為翻譯,最後介紹了筆者於「中日翻譯實務」的課堂教學實踐及學生回饋。 |
| 英文摘要 | This paper examines the issue of the position of the “Japanese Translation in Business Affairs” course, whose content is the translation of Chinese into Japanese, in department of Japanese language and culture, and how the course should be taught in response to the rapid progress of neural machine translation. First, the threat posed to university Japanese language education by the improvement and development of neural machine translation was discussed, followed by a discussion of the ideal role of the “Japanese Translation in Business Affairs” course. Next, I discussed the need for the ability to produce Japanese translations that incorporate Japanese way of thinking and Japanese culture in order to avoid being overtaken by machine translation. Finally, I introduced my efforts in “Japanese Translation in Business Affairs” and feedback from students. |
