中文摘要 | 目前專利地圖多數是依個別變數(發明人、國家別、權利人等)呈現敘述統計分析的結果,但無法同時顯現多變數間的多重對應關係與揭露隱藏的珍貴情資。本研究提出整合對應分析與集群分析的方式發展具多變數對應關係的技術專利地圖,利用幾何空間的直觀效果更能有效呈現權利人、分類號與申請日期的對應關係與隱藏意涵,藉以揭露企業與競爭者的技術佈局情境,察覺產業當前的技術缺口與預測技術的發展趨勢。研究對象選擇具發展潛力的薄膜太陽能電池,針對美國專利暨商標局已核准的專利文件,共164篇進行分析。結果發現至今薄膜太陽能電池技術著重於半導體裝置與金屬材料表面處理等相關領域的發展,即可視為其熱門的技術類型。然而卻忽略金屬、單晶或多晶等材料區熔精煉、製備或後處理,表面的塗布液體、鍍覆或接合等相關的技術領域,即可視為目前產業的技術缺口,或許未來具研發潛力與佈局價值。另外也揭露了其它相關情報,如英國石油與富士電機具持續創新與跨技術領域的研發實力,鐘淵化學工業、大西洋富田、富士電機、夏普等為主流技術的領導者,佳能為非主流技術的領導者等相關情資。本研究發展的技術專利地圖能直觀地挖掘有用的專利情報,協助企業尋找可交互授權的技術互補者,或引導企業自行研發具價值的關鍵技術等用途。 |
英文摘要 | Currently most patent maps stand on the representation of individual variables, such as inventors, patent countries and assignees by the result of descriptive statistical analysis, but it fail to simultaneously reveal the multiple correspondent relationships among multiple variables, and hidden information. In this study, the integration of correspondence analysis and cluster analysis is proposed for making the technological patent maps, which use the concept of geometric space, for more effectively showing the corresponding associations among the assignee, patent classification, and filing date. The proposed technological patent map can provide overall view of technological advancement for researchers in monitoring competitors' deployment, mining the techniques gap and forecast new trends of technology. This study has set its subject on thin-film photovoltaic, which is of great development potential. The analysis is based on 164 patent documents approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The results of patent analysis found that thin-film photovoltaic technology at present day focuses on the development in fields related to semiconductor devices and the surface treatment of metal materials, which can be deemed as foundational or popular types of technology. However, some technology fields such as fields related to refinement, manufacture and after-treatment for materials about metal, monocrystalline and polycrystalline and the technologies about plating, coating and connecting surface have been overlooked-such can be deemed the existing technological gap within industries, and potential for development and compositional values may be present in these fields. In addition, other relevant information has been revealed, including: BP Solarex and Fuji Electric are capable in continuous innovation and cross-fields technology R&D; Kaneka, Atlantic Richfield, Sharp and Fuji Electric are the leader in mainstream technologies; and Canon has been the leader in alternative technologies. The technological patent map developed in this study is capable of mining in a visual manner about valuable patent information, thus it has the capability to assist enterprises to find complementary technological partners who are willing to cross license, or to guide enterprises to develop valuable and critical technologies. |
