中文摘要 | 節是影響木材強度性質的重要因子。本研究的目的在探討三分點荷重中荷重跨距內節特徵對抗彎性質的影響。台灣杉和杉木平割材實大樑的重要缺點如節、弧邊和捲皮等的大小和位置予以記錄後,利用中國國家標準CNS 444之分等標準進行分等,再以三分點荷重方式測試其抗彎性質,並計算荷重跨距內節體積和、最大節體積、節數及平均節體積等節特徵,以探討節特徵與抗彎性質的關係。除了杉木的弧邊之外(7.2%),台灣杉和杉木都是由節,尤其是在窄面的貫穿節,決定木材等級。由荷重跨距內的節特徵發現台灣杉平割材有較大的平均節體積。杉木的抗彎強度、抗彎彈性模數及動彈性模數均較台灣杉的平均值高,其比值分別為 1.69、1.70和1.84。台灣杉和杉木平割材經 CNS 444分等後,等級間的抗彎性質沒有顯著的差異。台灣杉和杉木的最大節徑比及在荷重跨距內的節體積和、最大節體積及平均節體積與抗彎強度有顯著的負相關性。 |
英文摘要 | Knot is one of the most important strength reducing factors of dimension lumbers. The objective of this study is to explore the effect of knot characteristics in load span on the flexural properties when dimension lumber was tested in third-point loading. The sizes and coordinates of the most decisive defects such as knots, wanes and bark pockets of Taiwania and China-fir dimension lumbers were recorded. The lumbers were then visually graded according to CNS 444. Flexural properties such as moduli of elasticity and rupture were obtained by testing the lumbers in third-point loading. The knot characteristics in load span such as sum of knot volumes, average knot volume, maximum knot volume and number of knot were calculated. Except for that 7.2% China-fir was graded by wane, the grade of dimension lumbers was determined by the knot on the narrow face. It was found that the average knot volume of Taiwania was larger than that of China-fir. China-fir had higher values in moduli of rupture, elasticity and dynamic elasticity than those of Taiwania with the ratios of 1.69, 1.70 and 1.84, respectively. The flexural properties among the grades were not significantly different. The knot characteristics in the load span, and the maximum knot ratio were significantly negatively related with flexural strength for both Taiwania and China-fir. |
