中文摘要 | MDF之應用廣而多樣化,必須從各層面探討其加工性,一般用於木質材料銑削加工之市售鉋花直刀刀端角約為45°,以便獲得較佳之銑削品質,惟刀端角小時,刀尖易於磨耗及破損。本研究嘗試以更大之刀端角,並改變斜度角及送材速度對MDF進行溝槽銑削,以探討影響銑削品質之因子。試驗結果顯示,刀端角50°者可獲得良好銑削品質,且改變斜度角及送材速度仍可維持良好加工品質,其他二種刀端角(β=55°及β=60°)則會產生嚴重起毛及切屑撕裂缺點。此外,刀端角之增加,切削噪音及電能消耗皆會增加,而提高送材速度之切削噪音並未明顯變大,卻可大幅降低耗電成本。是以,本試驗得知MDF溝槽銑削之鉋花直刀刀端角加大至50°時,仍可獲得理想之銑削品質,而斜度角並非影響銑削品質之重要因子。 |
英文摘要 | Demand for medium-density fiberboard (MDF) has been increased because of its diverse utilization in furniture industry. It is important to investigate the machining performance of MDF from every processing aspect. In order to obtain better milling quality, the sharpness angle of straight router-bit used in milling of wood-based materials available in the market is about 45°. The cutting edge is easily worn and broken if the sharpness angle is too small. To explore the effects of cutting performance of inside groove milling of MDF, router-bit with larger sharpness angle, with various rake angles and in conjunction with various feed speeds were used. The milling quality, cutting noise and power consumption were observed and measured in this study. Experimental results indicated that optimal milling quality could be got by the sharpness angle of 50°, in conjunction with various rake angles and feed speeds. The sharpness angle of 55° and 60° produced serious burr and torn chip after milling of MDF. Furthermore, cutting noise and power consumption increased with the increase of sharpness angle. However, power consumption could be decreased greatly without significant increase of cutting noise under fast feed speed. Therefore, it is recommended from this experiment that better milling quality could be obtained as the sharpness angle of straight router-bit is set at 50° when inside groove milling of MDF. The rake angle was not a detenrminant factor in inside groove milling of MDF. |
