中文摘要 | 利用回轉圓盤刀具之切削可獲得極大的動態偏角,大幅提高切削品質,對於需要銳利刀具的木材切削是非常有效的,尤其是在橫切面切削方面。本試驗利用超硬合金圓盤刀具,以紅櫟木為試材進行回轉平削,將三方向動力計測得之切削力作進一步分析。利用座標軸之轉換,將切削力分解成作用於刀端線方向之分力Fx',垂直於刀面之分力Fy'及作用於刀面上與Fx'成垂直之分力Fz',探討動態偏角對切削力及刀面與切屑間摩擦係數之影響,以及回轉速對切削能量之效應,結果顯示:平行於刀端線之切削分力(Fx')有隨動態偏角之正接(tanλ')之增大而減小之趨勢;垂直刀面之切削分力(Fy')與tanλ'間無明顯關係;刀面上與Fx'垂直之切削分力(Fz')隨tanλ'之增大而減小;比切削能量隨切削深度之減少及回轉速之增加而增大;刀面與切屑間之摩擦係數與tanλ'間並無明顯關係;回轉圓盤刀具之三次元切削可獲接近90°之動態偏角。 |
英文摘要 | The high dynamic bias angle introduced by the rotating disc cutter increases the sharpness of the tool, thus reducing the cutting force and improving cutting quality. In this study, a carbide disc cutter was applied to the wood of red oak (Quercus sp.), and the influences of the dynamic bias angle on the components of cutting force and the coefficients of friction between the tool face and chip were analyzed. The effect of the rotating speed of cutter on the cutting energy is also discussed. The results indicated that the cutting force component parallel to the knife edge (Fx’) decreased as the tangent of the dynamic bias angle (tanλ’) increased. The force component (Fy’) when cutting normal to the knife face was independent of tanλ’. The cutting force component (Fz’) on the knife face and that normal to the knife edge decreased with increasing tanλ’. The coefficient of friction between the knife face and chip was independent of tanλ’. The dynamic bias angle introduced from the rotating disc cutting approached 90°. A negative relationship existed between the specific cutting energy and the depth of cut, and the energy increased with the rotating speed of the disc cutter. |
