| 中文摘要 | 本研究提出一種新的三維球銑刀模式,首先以三維立體圖建立一個刀具與切屑之空間立體模式,再利用此真實三維立體幾何結構,以切削條件及切削幾何角度明確表示球銑刀在切削瞬間其未變形切屑厚度、切屑剪切變形區及切屑流動三者間之相對關係。然後,以上述立體幾何關係建構三維剪切面投影模式,並計算剪切面於切屑變形區及刀面上之投影面積,進而求得包括剪切變形能及刀面摩擦能之切削能,再以最小能量法得到刀面座標系統之三維切削力。最後,將瞬時切削深度、刀刃螺旋角度、瞬時刀具旋轉角度及刀尖犁入力等影響切削力因素納入座標轉換系統以求得瞬時三維切削力。最後,進行各項切削實驗以驗證本研究之切削模式,結果顯示,理論切削值與實驗值相當符合。因此,本研究提出之三維球銑刀模式不僅可完整且真實地描述銑削行為,更可以方便且正確地預測三維切削力。 |
| 英文摘要 | A new three dimensional cutting model of ball-end milling is presented. A structure between cutting tool and chip in three dimensional space is constructed first. The relative relationships among instantaneous undeformed chip thickness, shear deformation zone and chip flow with respect to cutting conditions and cutting geometry are clearly described. Based on these relationships, a three dimensional projection model of the shear plane is built to calculate the projected areas of shear plane on the shear deformation zone and on the tool face, respectively. These are in turn used to find the cutting energy including shear energy and friction energy. Then the three dimensional cutting forces in the tool axis system are obtained by minimum energy method. Finally, the effects of instantaneous depth of cut, helix angle of the cutting tool, instantaneous rotational angle, and plowing strength of the tool tip are taken into account through coordinate transformation matrices to obtain the three dimensional cutting forces in Cartesian system. Experiments are conducted to verify the developed model. The predicted cutting forces are found to agree fairly well with test results. It is concluded that not only the true cutting behavior of ball-end milling can be more completely described by the proposed model, the three dimensional cutting forces can be more conveniently and accurately predicted. |
