中文摘要 | 本文利用直接數值模擬法(DNS)產生均勻剪紊流場,用以探討存在流場中的高渦度片狀結構之形成機制。Kida& Tanaka (1994)首先指出該流場中存在三種高渦度基本結構,包括縱向高渦度管狀渦漩、高渦度片狀結構、側向高渦度管狀渦漩。Yang& Lei (1998)利用條件平均法研究此流場,並指出片狀結構之形成可能與縱向管狀渦漩兩側高能量流區問之相互衝擊有關。本文將列出高渦度片狀渦漩三種基本形成型態,每一種基本型態尚包含數種次型態。 |
英文摘要 | In the present paper, the formation of layer-like intense vorticity structures is studied numerically in the homogeneous sheared turbulence generated by the method of direct numerical simulation (DNS). There are three important dynamical elements in the homogeneous sheared turbulence (first proposed by Kida & Tanaka 1994), including longitudinal tubular intense vorticity structure, layer-like intense vorticity structure, and lateral tubular structure. Based on the results of Yang & Lei (1998b), in which the conditional averaging method was adopted, it was suggested that the formation of the layer-like intense vorticity structures is highly related to the encounter of two local streams. Such streams occur bilaterally at the periphery of the longitudinal tubular structure. A mechanism of formation of layer-like intense vorticity structures is proposed, including three primary types. Furthermore, layer-like structures in each primary type can be classified into several Subtypes. |
