英文摘要 | Electoronic moisture meter is easy in operation. The detecting process is very rapidly. It is widely used to measure the moisture content of rough rice in Taiwan. In order to ensure the accuracy of moisture meters, the testing rules for these meters need to be evaluated. In this study, two types of conductance meter and one capacitance meter were adopted to test their performance for different varieties of rough rice. The results indicated conductance meters only valid with the moisture range below 22% (w.b.). The accuracy could be improved by modifying the read values with a fixed numeric value. The measuring range of capacitance meter can higher than 30% (w.b.). The relationship between standard values and reading values is clear pattern. The establishment of calibration equation can improve the accuracy to 1.0%. The performance of these meters corresponded to the Class II standards of OIML testing rules. |
