中文摘要 | 臺灣有一些市區道路利用高架道路來降低交通衝突。這些高架道路的下匝道下坡終點通常緊鄰號誌化路口,其停等車疏解特性及其車道容量很可能受到緊鄰高架道路下匝道之坡度的影響。目前臺灣公路容量手冊(HCM)係利用『坡度調整因素』來估計車道疏解能力因停止線上游坡度之影響,但此調整因素並未依據臺灣本土交通特性來訂定。因此,本研究透過臺北地區8個下坡路段之直行快車道,由現場調查資料來進行疏解特性分析。研究結果發現,停止線上游之下坡路段明顯提高號誌化路口停等車之疏解能力,且各調查地點均能利用綠燈時段(g)合理估計每週期可疏解小車數(Ngyi);本研究並進一步分析不同車道幾何條件對疏解能力的影響。本研究之成果可提供臺灣交通界進一步了解坡度對疏解能力的影響。 |
英文摘要 | Many urban streets in Taiwan were designed as viaducts to minimize conflicting traffic movements. The off-ramps of these viaducts or bridges usually ended at or near their immediately downstream signalized intersection. The queue discharge characteristics and the resulting lane capacities at such intersections may be affected by the adjacent off-ramp grades. To take the impact of grade into consideration, Taiwan Highway Capacity Manual (THCM) applies grade adjustment factors to estimate queue discharge rates justifying the upstream grades on the intersection approach lanes. The grade adjustment factors used in THCM, however, have not been validated using local traffic data. Therefore, this study analyzed the queue discharge characteristics on downgrade straight-though lanes using data collected at eight sites in Taipei area. It was found that downgrade significantly increases queue discharge ability, and the parameter of discharged passenger-cars per signal cycle, Ngyi, could be reasonably estimated by green interval, g, in the signal cycle using the analyzed regression equations. Furthermore, various roadway geometric effects on queue discharging were also discussed. The findings of this study could provide better insight into the effects of grade on queue discharging in Taiwan. |
