英文摘要 | 1. Six varieties (NTU/Kaohsiung Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and Shishih), three planting seasons (spring, summer and autumn), and four localities (Taichung, Tainan, Pingtung and Taitung) were involved in this study. 2. Evidently there is a minus correlation between the protein and oil contents in all varieties tested except for Shishih. That is, the more protein, the less oil content, and vice versa. Therefore it appears difficult to select from different cross combinations an ideal variety having high contents of both protein and oil simutaneously. 3. There was no clear clue as to which locality more likely to produce high protein or high-oil vareities, although it is not improbable that local environmental conditions may affect such contents. 4. Spring planting was apparently more favorable to protein as well as oil contents than do summer and autum plantings. 5. The oil contents of the varieties tested, in descending order, were NTU/Kaohsing 2, 7, 5, 1, 6, Shishih; protein contents, NTU/Kaohsiung 6, 1, 5, 7, 2, Shishih. There was no significant difference between NTU/Kaohsiung 2 and 7 in oil contents, and between NTU/Kaohsiung 6 and 1 in protein contents. |
