中文摘要 | (一)水平插、船底插、斜插及直立插對塊根個數、大小之比率及生產量並無顯著的差異。 (二)每穴插植苗數在1至3條範圍內,苗數愈多塊根個數及塊根重量愈多;處理間個數與重量之差異均達極顯著標準。3條插較一條插區塊根個數增加96%,塊根收量增加7%。 (三)不同插植方法與每穴插植苗數,對地上部之生長並無顯著影響。 (四)中型塊根(100~300公克重)為最適當之種藷。採用水平插每穴插植3條藷苗時,其中塊根個數較一般植法(斜插1條者)增加175%。 (五)種藷利用二氧化碳處理時,會增加其萌芽數(2.7倍)及促進生長。切去頂部或硫?(Thiourea)液處理,其效果不及以二氧化碳處理。 (六)二氧化碳處理期間須保持溫度30℃。處理期間在3天內愈長愈佳,如超出5天會發生腐爛現象。處理濃度在(200~760mm)氣壓範圍內,愈濃愈佳。 |
英文摘要 | This experiment was designed to find out the suitable planting method and optimum number of cuttings per hill to be adoped in seed nultiplication of sweet potato. The effects of carbon dioxide and thio-urea treatments of tubers on the sprouting rate of suckers were also investigated. The primary experimental findings are presented as hereunder: 1. There was no significant difference produced among such planting methods as horizontal, curve, slant and up-right on the number of tubers, ratio of different size tubers and tuber yield of sweet potato. 2. Among treatments of 1, 2 and 3 cuttings per hill, the number and yield of tubers were increased with the increasing of number of cuttings per hill planted. The plot planted with 3 cuttings per hill produced 96% more number of tubers and 7% more tuber yields than that of plot planted with one cutting per hill. The differences between treatments were highly significant. 3. The planting methods and number of cuttings per hill did not show any significant difference on vine's production. 4. For seed purpose, the medium size tubers of 100-300 gms. in weight will be the best choice. The treatment of horizontal planting with 3 cutting per hill could produce 175% more of medium size tubers than the conventional slant plating with 1 cutting per hill. 5. Seed tubers treated with carbon dioxide were in increasing the number of sprouts and promoting sucker's growth. The effect of bisecting or thio-urea treatment was not as significant as carbon dioxide. 6. When seed tubers treated with carbon dioxide, the temperature should be maintained at approzimately 30℃. Whinin 3 days, the longer the treatment period the better effect on root suckering was observed. If period of treatment exceeded 5 days, however, the rotting of seed tubers would occur. With regard to the density of carbon dioxide treatment, the better result on root suckering was obtained with the increasing of density within the partial pressure range of 200 mm to 760mm. |
