中文摘要 | 本研究是透過兩階段問卷調查與面談,以瞭解本校五專一年級的新生,對於現在 正在使用的教科書接受程度如何,及對首次面臨的期中考卷及評分有何意見,更想了解這批 新生對數學科的興趣如何,對數學成績是否感到焦慮,對數學學習是否感到挫折,及期中考 成績對後來的學習是否有影響,更利用期中考成績將全體學生分為五族群,想看看各族群對 上述問題的回答,是否有顯著的不同。 經分析結果發現:學生對現用的教科書尚能接受,唯習題難了點,對於期中考卷的題數與形 式沒什麼意見,但對於評分方式較有意見,對數學科有興趣的同學,不到百分之三十七,而 超過三分之一的人,常常對數學成績感到焦慮,對數學學習感到挫折,至於期中考成績對後 來學習的影響,隨著分數愈低愈有影響,而且也同時證明,此問卷的題項的確可反應出問題 ,往後,任課老師想對自己班上同學進行相關問題的了解時,仍可參考使用。 |
英文摘要 | The objective of this research is to understand the opinion of the freshmen in this junior college of technology regarding various teaching/learning-related questions through a two-stage questionnaire investigation and interview with students. The questions include the degree of acceptance of the textbooks currently being used, the opinion about the mid-term examination and its grading, and the level of interest in the course of Mathematics. Also included are the questions about various effects of mathematics learning and the influence of the grade of mid-term examination on subsequent learning. Furthermore, the students are divided into five groups. based on their grade of mid-term examination, in order to understand if there exists obvious difference in the answers provided by students from different groups. The results of investigation show that most of the students think that the textbooks being used are appropriate, but the exercises are a little too difficult. Although most students have no opinion in the number of problems and their format involved in the mid-term examination, some students do have comments in the way of grading. The results of the questionnaire investigation also indicate that less than 37% of the total students have interest in the course of Mathematics, and more than one third of the students are anxious of mathematics grade and feel discouraged in mathematics learning. Moreover, the results show that the grade of mid-term examination indeed has influence, more as the grade gets lower, on the subsequent learning. This also suggests that the questions raised in the questionnaire can appropriately reflect the problems of teaching and learning, and these questions will be a good reference for teachers who want to perform similar investigations. |
