英文摘要 | The primary function of a flexible manufacturing cell controller is to coordinat equipment within a cell tp perform a sequence of manufacturing operations required by flexible production. In this paper, a Petri net based development environment is described. The proposed environment is used to design and implement a cell controller at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). To analyze the cell controller model for qualitative properties, this paper generalizes the modular approach proposed by Jeng and DiCesare for modeling manufacturing systems with shared resources. With a class of nets called ARCNM, the dynamic behavior of each resource is modeled separately. In fact, an ARCNM is the net after we add operation places to an RCNM proposed by Jeng and DiCesare. An important feature of ARCNM is their capability to express explicitly parallel processes in our cell controller, which cannot be expressed by RCNM. Interactions among the resources are then modeled through merging of common transitions and common transitions subnets. Boundedness, Liveness and reversibility of an ARCNM is shown to be related to siphons. This paper also uses one explicitly generates siphons and traps method to detect deadlocks in an ARCNM. |
