英文摘要 | The ATP bioluminescence technique was used in the microbial examination of raw milk. The relative light unit (RLU) obtained from the total microbial ATP of raw milk was correlated with standard plate count by regression analysis. The following regression equation was obtained y=1.29x+2.06 (n=62), and the correlation coefficient (r2) was equal to 0.87 (P<0.05). This indicated that the standard plate count and the total microbial ATP of raw milk had good correlation. The results demonstrated that the ATP bioluminescence technique could substitute for the traditional methylene blue reduction test and required only 6 minutes to complete the operation. Milk processors will benefit from applying this technique to determine the quality of raw milk quickly. |
