中文摘要 | 本研究調查台灣北部陽明山國家公園內,大屯山區內之台灣島槐(Maackia taiwanensis)族群、物候學、更新情形與生育地植群情形,並進行台灣島槐種子發芽試驗。調 查地區海拔約為815-840公尺,土壤酸性,坡面西相。總共設立9個森林植群、12個草原 植群與4幼苗觀察樣區。在森林植群樣區中,總共將55種木本植物加以分析,利用雙向列 表比較法(TWINSPAN)將9個森林樣區分為兩主型與兩亞型A.紅楠-樹杞型:Al.樹杞-墨 點櫻桃亞型:A2.小花鼠刺-狹瓣八仙亞型:B.紅楠-樹杞-山龍眼型。A型的植群是屬於 演替較為早期的森林植群,台灣島槐成集落狀分布;B型植群則為演替較為後期的植群,台 灣島槐則呈零星狀分布,演替方向可能由A2型→Al型→B型。 台灣島槐的種子發芽情形良好,林下亦可發芽,但由於幼苗的需光性極高,林份鬱閉後, 台灣島槐幼苗大量死亡;而台灣島槐僅能依靠種子苗繁殖,導致台灣島槐無法在其現有生育 地上更新。族群有縮減的趨勢,在陽明山中可能趨向於滅絕。 |
英文摘要 | We studied the regeneration type, population structure, phenology, as well as habitat characteristics, ability of germination and regeneration rate of the Maackia taiwanensis at Yangming Shan area, Taiwan. The Maackia Taiwanensis grew in acidic soil on the west slopes from 815 to 840 m above sea level. 9, 12 and 4 sampling sites were established for the forest, grassland and seedling area, respectively. TWINSPAN was used to analyze the 55 tree species in the forest area. Two types with two subtypes vegetation were recognized. A. Machilus thunbergii-Ardisia sieboldii type: A1. Ardisia sieboldii-Prunus phaeosticta subtype A2. Itea parviflora-Hydrangea angustipetala subtype B. Machilus thunbergii-Ardisia sieboldii-Helicia formosana type Type A was in the earlier phase during the succession; the Maackia taiwanensis was distributed in clumps. Whereas type B was in the later phase; the Maackia taiwanensis was very rare. The succession might occur from A2 type to A1 type to B type. The germination rate of Maackia taiwanensis was very high, and seedlings were found under the forest. However, the seedlings would need a lot of sunlight. After other plants overgrew, the seedlings would disappear rapidly. Seed was the only way for Maackia taiwanensis to regenerate, but the seedlings were always depressed at their original habitats. Therefore the Maackia taiwanensis may decline and become extinct in Yangming Shan area in the future. |
