中文摘要 | 本研究係利用衛星影像資料、地理資訊系統、及現地勘查分析,劃分北部煤礦礦 脈分布區之地表植被狀況,配合數位地形與土壤等之空間分布資料,以多變量統計方法套疊 分析瑞芳地區草生地演替停滯之影響因素。 多變量統計分析結果,人為干擾度低之林地,無法直接由地形與土層深度等因素來加以正確 判釋,顯示地形與土層等因素並非瑞芳地區林木生長之限制因子。而瑞芳地區之地形與土層 深度等因素能正確判釋草生地,對草生地之分布有顯著之影響。 草生地為人為干擾與土壤污染之環境指標,極易引發週期性火燒,由地形、土層深度等因素 所判釋之草生地與植被現況比較,可估算瑞芳地區潛在野火發生之等級與分布。硫酸鹽類與 銅為瑞芳地區草生地土壤之主要污染源,採礦易將地層中還原性硫化物挖出,大量含硫物質 之棄土易氧化而形成酸性硫酸鹽土壤。禮樂鍊銅廠與台金公司附近,表土之銅含量過高,部 份地區已達嚴重污染等級。銅污染、強酸性土壤與週期性火燒會阻絕林木入侵生長,為瑞芳 地區草生地演替停滯之主因。 |
英文摘要 | The purposes of this study are to classify the vegetation status and to find out the factors affecting the retardation of grassland succession at Juifang area by remote sensing, GIS techniques, multivariate analysis, and on-site investigations. Discriminant analysis shows forest land at Juifang area can not be directly recognized accurately from the topographic and soil factors, which do affect the delineation of grasslands. This indicates topography and soil depth at Juifang area are not the limiting factors for the development of forest. Grasslands are usually susceptible to the periodic wildfires, and can be used as the environmental index of disturbed and/or polluted soils. Comparing current vegetation status with the vegetation map derived from discriminant analysis, potential wildfire frequency can be estimated. Acid sulfate soils and copper-contaminated soils are the major polluted soils at Juifang area. Because Juifang is an important coal field in northern Taiwan, acid sulfate soils can be easily found at the spoil soils of several mining spots due to the oxidation of sulfur dug out from the soil and/or rock layers. Coppercontaminated soils were detected at the sites near Li-Lo Copper Smelting Company and Taiwan Metal Company. Polluted soils and periodic wildfires inhibiting the invasion of trees are the major factors retarding the succession of grasslands at Juifang area. |
