中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討影響我國特殊教育教師工作士氣低落的因素。研究者以自編之間卷 為研究工具,該問卷除填答者基本資料蛉,主要內容包含行政、教學、工作、專業、家庭、 社會、經濟、學生、家長及人際等十項因素 研究對對象包括服務於臺北市、花蓮縣、基隆市、 臺中市、及高雄縣所屬之國民中小學(含特殊學校)之受過專業訓練且目前在職之全部特殊 教育教師,總計接受調查人數為1300人。本研究獲致之主要結果為: (1)約有百分之八十填答者認為特殊教育津貼應酌予提高。 (2)影響特教教師工作士氣低落之因素依序為專業因素、經濟因素、家長因素、學生因素、工 作因素、行政因素、及教學因素等七項。 (3)男性特教教師受家庭因素及經因素之負面影響比女性教師嚴重。 (4)國小特教教師受經濟、工作、及專業三項因素之負面影響比國中特教教師嚴重。 (5)身心障礎班教師受教學、工作、專業、學生及家長等因素之負面影響比資優班教師嚴重。 (6)年齡20∼29歲組特教教師比其他年齡組特教教師受到各種因素影響而工作士氣低落較顯 著。 研究者依調查結果,提出若干建議,分別供教育部、地方各級主管教育行政機關、各級 學校及師資培育機構參考辦理要以期能夠提昇特殊教育教師工作士氣。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that lower the morale of special education teachers in Taiwan. A population survey was administrated to obtain demographic information such as gender, age, highest degree earned and etc. Another self-developed questionnaire, which consisted of morale factors such as administrative support, instructional skill, job load, social status, professional knowledge, financial benefit, parent cooperation and etc,. was also sent to the participants. 1300 certified special education eachers from regular elementary and junior high schools, special schools in Taipei City, Hualien County, Keelung City, Taichung city and Kaohsiung County participated in this study. The main findings of this study were as follows: (1) The fringe benefit, which is insufficient, needs to be raised reasonably. (2) The factors that lower the morale of special education teachers in descending order were lack of 'professional knowledge', ' financial benefit', 'parent cooperation', 'good relationship with students', 'reasonable job load', 'administrative support' and 'instructional skill'. (3) The male teachers tended to perceive greater negative influences by morale factors of 'family support' and 'financial benefit' than female teachers. (4) The elementary school teachers tended to perceive greater negative influences by morale factors of 'financial benefit', 'job load', and 'professional knowledge' than junior high school teachers. (5) The teachers of handicapped students tended to perceive greater negative influences by morale factors of 'instructional skill', 'job lad', 'professional knowledge', 'relationship with students' and 'parent cooperation' than the teachers of gifted and talented students. (6) The beginning or younger teachers exhibited lower morale than the senior or older eachers. According to the study findings, some suggestions were presented for the educational administrators. |
