中文摘要 | 最近幾年來,文獻上已經證實,特定界面活性劑於一過飽和溶液之靜態氣/液界面 上聚集之後,對液面下晶體成核與成長具有明顯地控制效果。較為可惜的是,此種可控制產 品特性的技術僅止於實驗室規模,將其量化的技術尚付闕如。本研究將探討此一技術製程化 的可行性。 實驗結果首先證實,特定界面活性劑對晶體成核及成長控制的效果同樣地發現於以此界 面活性劑為氣泡或乳狀液滴穩定劑的動態界面上。此結果暗示,利用界面活性劑的功能來控 制產品特性的技術應可藉由泡沫結晶(foam crystallization)或乳狀液結晶(emulsion crystallization)的方式來達成量化的目的。進一步的實驗結果顯示,以特定界面活性劑為 泡沫穩定劑之泡沫結晶,其產品的特性中諸如顆粒大小、粒徑分佈、晶癖或稱晶型(crystal habit)、及多晶型(polymorphs)等,均可得到適度的控制。這些結果顯示,此一技術極具製 程化的可行性。 |
英文摘要 | It has been known for many years that the segregation of amphiphilic molecules at the stable air/solution interface can be effective in controlling three- dimensional nucleation in supersaturated subphases by templating specific crystal forms. However, work of this type has only been carried out on a small laboratory scale in static systems. In this study, the experimental results demonstrate that such effects can be achieved within the large interfacial area inherent in foams and emulsions, and- that the templating effect is maintained under the dynamic conditions likely to be encountered on a large scale. Continuous foams have been used to control crystal size, crystal size distribution, crystal habit and polymorphic form. These results indicate that the microstructure of the solidified product from foam crystallization can be controlled. It is therefore, for example, the desirable pore size and surface area of catalyst can be achieved by this techniue. |
