中文摘要 | 為了探討幾丁聚醣對脂質代謝的影響,以6週齡雄性Wistar系大白鼠為實驗動 物,基礎實驗餌料含高脂肪(10%Lard),高膽固醇(0.5%Cholesterol),共分四組, 分別是(1)5%纖維素組(5CE);(2)5%幾丁質組(5CT);(3)5%幾丁聚醣組(5CS); (4)7%幾丁聚醣組(7CS)。結果發現,7CS組體重明顯的較其他三組低(p<0.05)。 此外,大白鼠攝食幾丁聚醣後有較高的糞便重及總脂質。實驗期間到第四週為止, 血漿總膽固醇濃度會隨著幾丁聚醣的添加而下降,但到了第八週除7CS組仍有較低的 血漿膽固醇濃度外,其餘三組間並無統計一的差異(p>0.05)大白鼠大攝食實驗飼料8 週後,5CS組有較高的高度密脂蛋白膽固醇及較低的低密度蛋白膽固醇。此外幾丁 聚醣也會明顯的降低血漿β-醛醣酸�t (β-glucuronidase)及鹼性磷酸�t (alkaline phos- phatase)活性,上升β-羥基丁酸(β-hydroxybutyric acid)濃度(p<0.05)。另一方 面,大白鼠攝食含有幾丁聚醣的飼料後有較低的肝臟總膽固醇含量,然而除了7CS組 有較低的游離膽固醇含量組較低外,其餘三組間並沒有明顯變化。值得注意的是幾丁 聚醣組有較低的血漿IgA濃度。綜合以上結果推測膳食幾丁聚醣可能在脂質代謝的調 節上扮演重要角色。 |
英文摘要 | To investigate the effect of dietary chitosan on plasma cholesterol levels, male Wistar rats were fed a cholesterol-enriched basal diet containing 5% cellulose (5CE), or 5% chitin (5CT), of 5% chitosan (5CS), or 7% chitosan (7CS) for 8 weeks. Rats fed 7% chitosan have lower body weight when compared with the remaining three groups. In addition, chitosan significantly increased the fecal weight (p<0.05). Although lower plasma total cholesterol levels were observed in rats fed the chitosan diet for 4 weeks, no significant difference was found among the four groups at the end of experimental period. Significantly decreased VLDL- cholesterol and increase HDL-cholesterol were observed in the rats after dietary chitosan treatment. In addition, a significant decrease in plasma β -glucuronidase and alkaline phosphatase activities was observed in the chitosan groups. Rats fed the chitosan diet had lower liver total cholesterol contents. Significantly decreased liver free cholesterol contents were observed in rats fed the 7 CS diet. It is worth noting that rats fed the chitosan diet have lower plasma IgA concentrations when compared with those fed the cellulose diet. Results from this experiment suggest that chitosan may play an important role in lipid metabolism in rats. |
