英文摘要 | This study established a general operation model for rice drying centers and simulated the rice-drying center of Fong-Yuan Farmer's Association. The maximum wet grain-handling capacity between once-over and two-stage drying was investigated for planning and designing drying centers in coming future. The operations of a drying center could be described as a network. To simplify the system, series of facilities such as bucket elevators and conveyors were considered as a single facility in the simulation model. A discrete event simulation software was developed using C + + programming language, which has the advantages of highly modularized, clearly defined system and easily modified for variety of drying center. The simulated result showed the daily maximum drying capacity of Fong-yuan drying center based on once-over drying method was roughly equivalent to the total capacity of Fong-Yuan drying center. For two stage drying method, the daily maximum drying capacity ranging from 84 tons to 124 tons was increased by 25%-41% with constant drying rate (0.7%w.b./h) and 50%-61% with step decreasing drying rate (1.0-0.55%w.b./h) respectively. |
