中文摘要 | 四面精鍛製程(Four-Hammer Radial Forging)是一項複雜的金屬成形製程,與 傳統鍛造比較具有多方面的優點,尤其是有極高的加工速率。但由於其成形機構與成形原理 均不同於傳統的鍛造方式,故必須考慮到不同的製程參數及影響。本文利用電腦模擬技術來 對鈦合金在四面精鍛機上的鍛打進行分析,提供製程設計工程師在產品設計時,鈦合金胚料塑 性變形後之組織分布之參考。利用美國SFTC(Scientific Forming Technologies Corporation)研發之塑性加工有限元素套裝軟體DEFORM,分別以二維與三維電腦模擬的方 式,得到鈦合金胚料於變形前後之溫度、應力、應變率變化與材料流動狀況,並與實際鍛打 所測得之溫度分布與金相組織相互驗證。經由本文中對於四面精鍛製程的分析,製程設計者 可依據模擬結果來評估製程設計能否符合產品需求。 |
英文摘要 | Compared with the traditional forging techniques, four-hammer radial forging is a complicated metal forming process especially for extremely high productivities. Due to its forming mechanism and principle, one must consider different process parameters and effects from traditional forging methods. The aim of present study is to use the computer simulation technique in the analysis of four-hammer radial forging of titanium alloy, so that the engineers can these simulation results in process design. By using the finite element simulation code-DEFORM and both 3D and simplified 2D models, we can obtain the temperature, stress, strain, strain rate distribution and material flow. Then we compare the simulation with the infield test results and find they are in good agreement at present study. According to the analysis in this text, process designer can it to evaluate whether the design can achieve the qualities and product requirements or not. |
